As Indonesia gets closer to preside over the G20 Leaders Summit in November 2022, the critical foundation was laid during the Bali G20 Foreign Ministers Meeting in July. But the path to November could be rough as Indonesia needs to weather out the current geopolitical and environmental recession to seek opportunities and foster collective enterprise amid glooming global forecast. Indonesia must rests and muster its national resources in the strength of its values and the vigor of its foreign policy and diplomacy tradition if it wants to successfully spearhead a leadership role than just a chairmanship ones.
